Danique completed her B.Sc. at Saxion University of Applied Sciences. She joined AST in early 2021, supporting the cardiac group. Her work primarily involves culturing and differentiating induced pluripotent stem cells into cardiomyocytes, and she has contributed to several projects focused on engineered heart tissues.

In 2024, Danique took on an additional role as Program Coordinator for Cardiovascular Health. In this role, she helps coordinate the cardiovascular health program while continuing her research work.
