Maureen Dannenberg

Researcher

Maureen completed her bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Twente with a specialization in Bioengineering Technologies. During her internship at Medlon B.V. and master’s thesis at AST, she focused on COVID-related research in which she looked into the relationship between antibody affinity and disease severity, and the cardiotoxic effect of COVID antiviral drugs, respectively.

Currently, she is working on identifying targets of human cardiac differentiation by using a genome CRISPR/CAS9 screen.
