Robin Pampiermole

Robin was born and raised in Winterswijk, The Netherlands. In 2016 he started with the bachelor Biomedical Sciences at Radboud University and he moved to Nijmegen. After the bachelor, Robin continued with the master Biomedical Sciences in Nijmegen and followed the specialization “molecular medicine”. During the bachelor’s and master’s programme, he had the great opportunity to have internships in different research departments, having internships in experimental rheumatology and at matrix biochemistry at the Radboud UMC Nijmegen and at BIOS lab on a chip at the University of Twente. At this moment, Robin am working at AST on developing an iPSC-derived Blood Brain Barrier model for studying the implementation of microbubbles and focused ultrasound in Alzheimer’s disease treatment.
